It is learnt that there is a serious discussion between Sukumar and 14 Reels prior to 1 - Nenokkadine on how to promote the film. While Producers preferred revealing the storyline to prepare the audience mentally, Suku choose the other way fearing it would send wrong signal.
Post release, Sukumar realised he did prepare the audience enough to make an experimental flick like 1 - Nenokkadine a success at Box Office, though it is receiving accolades for technical brilliance and out-of-the-box attempt.
What Rajamouli did in the case of Eega is the best example to handle such risky projects? Jakkanna revealed the storyline even before the shoot began and people believed even an fly could kill a man by the time Eega hit the screens. Wish Suku doesn't repeat this mistake for his future projects!
