Deepthi Ganta (Nani's Sister) About Nani's Paisa On Twitter

My take on Paisa!

Call me biased, Call me family but I have got to say what I have to say. I loved PAISA! I loved it for its absolutely brilliant characterizations and fabulous performances, I loved it for the directors vision of what the movie should be and I loved it for just being true to what it is meant to be.

Nani playing the old city tapori is the highlight of the movie. He personified the guy that we all loved to hate. Pra'Cash' had everything that you would expect from that guy on the corner of every street in Hyderabad sporting a bike and giggling away at every girl that he comes across. That ignorant flirt who day dreams his life away imagining and wishing for the impossible. Kudos to Krishna Vamsi for not glorifying the actor into someone invincible.

Frankly, I am a big fan of Krishna Vamsi's brand of romance and that's the reason I look forward to his next movie. So, It was not what I expected but still loved the subtle love between the lead pair. It is sweet how much Pracash cares for Noor denying that he ever loved her. The movie is about the endless greed for money, you cannot expect kuchicoo romance and a song and dance number every 5 mins.

Finally to what I loved about the movie. When a movie like Paisa is conceptualized, you need to have a vision and you have to make sure that it gets through in how you bring it on to the screen. This was a movie to show the growing greed for money in all of us. The greed that spans from the guy next door to the man who rules the country. Krishna Vamsi visualized the scenes and dialogues to emphasize this and Nani enacted it like a pro. This is hands down the best acting that Nani had done to date. I might have said this for every movie but that is because he is improving himself ten fold for his every movie. I will not point out what scenes I liked the most as this review will turn into movie screenplay.

True, I did not jump up and down my chair for the entire time but thoroughly enjoyed every scene for the brilliantly written dialogues and the spontaneous performances. For those who are hesitating to say that they loved the movie because it does not fit into the "One comedy track, triangle love story, father's death Revenge" grove, I will say it for you. We loved the movie. Do read the reviews before you watch a movie but more importantly read what the guy who actually saw the movie had to say in the comments section or just talk to your friend who watched the movie and make a call.
