The Lok Sabha on Tuesday approved the AP Re-organisation Bill 2013-14, which lead to the division on Andhra Pradesh. The bill has been approved amid protests of seemandhra MPs . Celebrations started across the Telangana region and chaos ruling in Seemandhra
Telangana leaders started festivities and thanked all parties who involved in the process of bifurcation Here are reactions of many politicians on the way Telangana Bill is passed in Lok Sabha.
Harish Rao (TRS): “It is a win of Telangana people. We are dedicating it to late Professor Jayashankar. Seemandhra people in Hyderabad can continue to live in the city happily. The state was created with the untiring efforts of TRS chief K.Chandrasekhara Rao,
Kesava Rao (TRS): “This is Happiest Day in my life and no more words can describe it.”
Ch Vidyasagar Rao (BJP): " Sonia Gandhi behaved like Apara Kaali Maata to complete the passing of Bill.”
B Vinod (TRS): “400 MPs raised their hands in support of Telangana Bill in Lok Sabha which means everyone supported the seperate state.”
Vijaya Shanti (Congress): “ Today is happiest day in my life and we will focus on development of Telangana from now on. Sonia Gandhi has given the state crossing several hurdles.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy (YSRCP): “Today is black day in history of the country. Sonia Gandhi behaved like a dictator. May be situations would have been much better in Pakistan.”
Chandrababu: Bill was introduced in such a dictatorial manner.Congress party was splitting the State only to crush the TDP .They were not followed the process
Kavuri Samabasiva Rao (Cong) : “I will approach Supreme Court which can only stop this state bifurcation.”
Asaduddin Owaisi (MIM): “This is against democracy and not the appropriate way to pass the bill. What happens if BJP uses same strategy to pass POTA (Prevention Of Terrorism Act) if they come to power after elections."
