‘Drushyam’ film unit is currently in Idukki district in Kerala and shooting is progressing at brisk pace with cruical scenes being canned.Drushyam is a telugu remake of Malayalam blockbuster movie ‘Drishyam’,which is one of the most critically acclaimed film in recent past.The film stars Victory Venkatesh in the male lead reprising the role of Mohan Lal while Meena replaces herself as the female lead.Venkatesh and Meena are pairing up again after more than a decade.Nadia is playing an a very important female cop role in the film.
The film is being directed by Sripriya.Sripriya said that she is extremely happy with the film’s progress and recently,she hinted that there are several heart touching moments,which everyone on the set had felt while shooting.The film is being jointly produced by Suresh Productions,Rajkumar Theatres Pvt Ltd and Wide Angle Creations banners.The film is said to be a family drama with a twist in the end.The film is also being remade in tamil and telugu.Kamal Haasan and Ravichandran are reprising Mohanlal’s role in the Tamil and Kannada versions respectively.
